Timothy Verstynen is a research associate in the LRDC. He has worked at the Schneider lab since October 2009. He received his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley and has done post-doctorate work at the University of California, San Francisco and the University of Pittsburgh. He is currently working in the Schneider Lab, specializing in topographic mapping of sensorimotor systems in humans and how they break down with decreased physical health. His research interests include structural network mapping, statistical properties of plasticity and “brain training”, clinical applications of brain imaging tools and the brain-body relationship.
